Heart Buchanan

This is the sort of place I wish I owned. Fiona Buchanan is onto a good thing. Heart Buchanan was the first of the good delis, followed by Delizique, kember and jones and then sonny and vito's. In the last year she has added on a small sit-in area next to the deli, which serves what I think are the the best eggs benedict in glasgow.

They also do French toast

which I don't personally like but have been told is good, and a healthy granola and berry option

The coffee is pretty good too, and there are always freshly baked pastries like pain au chocolate and vanilla chocolate chip twists. It was a sunny morning and the three of us sat at the window, it almost felt like having breakfast in Sydney.
Highly recommended.

All looks good on paper but really disappointed with reality - waited over 35 mins for food which was average - porridge too dry and inedible - 4 meatballs in a little sauce £5.95, pot of tea £2 - not worth the wait or money

just to update you, Fiona Buchanan sold Heart Buchanan over a year ago and the stock and quality have changed drastically. I no longer go there as there are many other better places to eat in the West end.
