Bar Gandolfi

This is a really cute little bar in the Merchant City. Most people will know of the Cafe Gandolfi downstairs with it's Tim Stead furniture that would make Gandolf proud. This is a good place for a drink and it's even better now they have started to do small plates, so you can have something to soak up that glass of wine or two.

Rachel and I had the meatballs with tomatoes which were excellent, the mackerel and potato salad which was very good and the polenta cubes which we wouldn't have again. Three dishes for five quid and they do a very tasty Spanish vino blanco too.
