Meme. What does it mean?!

Given that I have only been doing the blog malarky for 5-ish months now, I feel I can be forgiven for not knowing what a meme is. I of course Wiki'd it, but it wasn't that clear but this is, and now I know something I didn't. Why the need to know? Because I just got my first meme or tag or something, courtesy of Serena at Rock Cakes. Thanks Serena! As far as I can tell the subject is '6 random things about me', the problem is the more I think about it, the less I can come up with one thing let along 6!

The process has some rules which are:

Link to the person who tagged you. Post the rules on the blog. Write six random things about yourself. Tag six people at the end of your post. Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.

So I have managed the first bit, the second bit is proving difficult (over-analyse? me, no!) the third bit equally difficult, I don't know who I would tag because then they would know I exist as opposed to lurking on their blogs.. the last bit I can do.

I think this raises an interesting issue for me as a blogger. I mosey along doing my thing, thinking that no-one really reads my nonsense, then when I find out people do it kinda freaks me out, but in a good way. I suppose I feel I exist in a vacuum and to tag other site would mean acknowledging my existence to people other than me!
Mmmnnh. I feel a ponder coming on.

Hey, she tagged me as well!!!!! I just thought I'd mosey along to see who else she'd done and lo and behold, it's another Glaswegian blogger. I've had a look through and I'm loving some of your posts. You're not bookmarked to my favourites.
